Cultural Equity

As we move into our 71st season, Dominion Stage has committed to a company statement of cultural equity, modeled after guidance provided by the Americans for the Arts. This statement will guide Dominion Stage’s values, policies, and practices to ensure that all people are represented in the art our organization creates each year, regardless of factors including race/ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, citizenship status, or religion. Our statement on cultural equity, below, will be updated on a regular basis to ensure it remains as inclusive as possible.

Dominion Stage’s Statement on Cultural Equity

To support a full creative life for all, Dominion Stage commits to providing just, inclusive, and equitable opportunities and policies to ensure all people, including those who have been historically under-represented, are included in Arlington theatre and that Arlington provides accessible, thriving venues for artistic expression. We will continue to challenge the inequalities of our community and build partnerships with other Arlington theatre companies to ensure positive change is enacted in our community.
